Molly was diagnosed with OSA in the lower jaw on Aug 1st 2008. She was 6,5 years old. She had a part of her lower jaw removed on Aug 6th at the Bristol University Small Animal Hospital in the UK. Her lung X rays were clear as were her lymph nodes. Molly was such a brave girl throughout her time at the hospital and recovered quickly. Within a week she was eating solid food and playing with her sister Tilly.
Molly started her chemo (Carboplatin) on Sept 2nd 2008 and she had the last of her four doses two weeks ago. She reacted reasonably well to the treatment with no sickness or outward signs but her white blood cell count fell low after two of the doses.
I'm so proud of Molly. She has been the bravest of little fighters throughout her ordeal. She has never shown any signs of being ill and continues to live her life to the full. Long may it last. She loves cuddles, going to the beach, chasing balls and playing with her sister Tilly.
