At 9 1/2 Tasha has been a very active dog all her life and discovered dog dock diving about 2 1/2 years ago, she was active in Dockdogs finishing up 2007 with National titles at the Junior and Senior level as well as regional and finsihed fourth in the veteran Final at nationals. Tasha ended up ranked 175 among active Dockdogs and #5 amongst listed Veterans.
In February Tasha was forced to retire from the dock after being diagnosed with OSA. There is no requirement that OSA caused her the retire but rather the fear that she could injure herself while on the dock, once she starts to show signs of lameness she would be not allowed anyway. Tasha is in the care of me and her brother Harry, a 14 week old lab I got from a friend in NC. Harry was here two weeks and then we found out Tasha has OSA. We live each life to the fullest and know when she gets called there will will be many friends to greet her and she will continue her career.
