Funding Update
Bone Cancer Dogs, Inc is quite proud to announce the sponsorship of our second research project being conducted by North Carolina State University: a study regarding limb spare implants which are used in treatment of canine osteosarcoma. We are working with Dr. Joanne Tuohy, DVM at NC State to make this possible, and thank her for reaching out to us for support.
In 2010, Bone Cancer Dogs, Inc. proudly announced their first sponsorship of a clinical trial in canine osteosarcoma at Colorado State University (CSU). This trial is in the final stages of completion and the reports will be published soon. Preliminary data has been shared with Bone Cancer Dogs, Inc. and was presented at a recent Veterinary Cancer Society meeting.
We are are very grateful to our contributors, without whom this would not be possible. Your continued support will allow us to fund additional research, in the hopes that we can discover better ways to prevent and treat this disease, until we find the cure.
